UI & Graphic Design
As the Web Designer for No Film School, I undertook a range of digital design responsibilities, including creating infographics, web banners, images, headers for posts, and UI elements. During my tenure, I played a key role in evolving the site’s design aesthetic from bright colors and gradients to a more refined look featuring subdued backgrounds with vibrant accents and a flatter design style. With no established brand guidelines in place, I worked to unify the site’s visual identity based on intermittent feedback from the CEO. Our objective was to achieve a balance between professionalism and a dynamic, eye-catching appearance that would capture and retain the audience’s attention. When I joined, the site had not undergone a major design update since 2014. To enhance brand credibility and align with the site’s long-standing reputation since 2005, we aimed to modernize the design language. Key design improvements included addressing concerns with site navigation, reducing bounce rates, and developing a longer post template.
